Marsha and Stephen Ferguson know first hand the attention to detail and wonderful experience at La Maison as they were guests first. Marsha and Stephen came to the desert in 2014 after spending 12 years in Hawaii in the hospitality and customer service area. Needing to relocated back to the mainland closer to family they chose to call beautiful Palm Springs their home. Both bring to La Maison a high standard in providing excellence in customer service and guest experience.

After many exciting and crazy years in the advertising business in Canada. Richard and Cornelia bought, renovated and successfully ran a four room Bed and Breakfast on 11 acres on Salt Spring Island, Canada. For ten years they lived the rural life, looking after guests, creating lavish sit down breakfasts and growing over 20 varieties of lavender. But it wasn't enough! They started looking south, after a two year search for the perfect property they moved to Palm Springs.

Richard and Cornelia opened La Maison Hotel on February 1, 2012. Because they love to renovate, they spent several months redecorating each of the thirteen guest rooms. They enjoy meeting each and every guest. Many are becoming wonderful repeat guests and friends!
